Inkjet printers

Inkjet printers for all kind of surfaces and harsh industrial environments

Rea Jet inkjet printers are designed for marking in demanding environments on rubber, plastic, glass, metal and cardboard, or even directly to foodstuff. For the Rea Jet inkjet devices there are wide range of ink types are available.

Rea Jet DoD 2.0

An easy-to-use and modular device for texts, dates and logos. Rea Jet DOD 2.0 printheads can be combined, allowing much heigher font size capacity.

Rea Jet HR

REA JET HR is a high-resolution inkjet printer using technology based on HP ink cartridge technology. The device can print with an excellent print resolution up to 600 dpi, which guarantee good readability of texts smaller than one millimeter.

Rea Jet GK 2.0

REA JET GK 2.0 high-resolution coding and marking system with piezo technology is suitable for direct, high-contrast coding and marking on absorbent and porous surfaces.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about inkjet printers

Inkjet printers are suitable for almost all materials, such as metal, concrete, stone, plastic, paper, cardboard, wood or glass.

Inkjet marking is automatic and suitable for even high production speed. Thanks to the advanced technology the inkjet can make high-resolution markings, large texts, dates and logos.

Our selection includes wide range of inks for different materials and conditions, also broad color options are available.

The modern interface is designed to be easy to use and visually appealing. Marking programs can be stored in the inside memory of the device, marking content can be created by Label Creator or be printed directly from the control panel.

During inkjet printing the marking device sraying small droplets of ink onto the material, forming desired characters such as text or numbers. Unlike laser devices, inkjet printers require movement to produce a mark- either one part or the printer itself is moving. The speed should be adjusted in order to the device spray the droplets to the right place. Depending on the printing technology, print speeds can range up to 600-700 m / min.

The ink jet can be used to label a wide variety of materials such as metal, concrete, stone, plastic, paper, cardboard, wood, or glass. In case of more challenging materials, we can also offer test marking.

There is no general answer to this question, as ink consumption varies in different applications. Ink consumption is affected by – among other things- the number of characters, the height of the text, the number of printing, and the settings. The built-in chip in the Rea Jet HR inkjet printer can monitor the ink consumption.

The answer of this question is difficult in general, as the durability of the ink depends on the material, the selected ink, the potential charging of the surface and the environmental conditions. If there are any problems with the quality of the marking, laser or dot marking devices can also be used.

Yes, different standard codes are available, logos can be saved as an image to the device’s memory.

The printing accuracy depends on the used technology. The REA JET HR printer can be used for high accurate printing, the 600 × 600 dpi resolution guarantee excellent readability of texts less than a millimeter (on a smooth surface material).

Yes. In addition to black, you can find e.g. red, blue, green and yellow inks. However, not all color are suitable for all materials, therefore test print with the ink is recommended on the material. The DoD printer can use only one color at once, unless more than one printhead or ink tank/bottle are used. An HR printer with ink cartridges technnology allows multiple colors at the same time if every color has their own ink cartridge without mixing.

The distance is depends mostly on the device. With Rea Jet HR, the printing distance must be at least 1.5 mm when printing 1D or 2D codes. Text can be printed from a distance of 3 mm. Rea Jet DoD can print much farther from the product, depending on the material.
